It all started
by chance. Rosa, at the age of 40, took care of the family and would never have imagined that years later she would be running a business. He often went to Motos Boquet de Mataró to buy items for his son Jaume, who was in love with motorcycles. There he met Montse, who told him about the possibility of bringing a small jewelry display.

after talking about it with her husband, she decided that she would try it, despite the embarrassment of having to work as a salesperson, a job that she was completely unaware of.
It started
organizing some meetings in the dining room of the house, where she showed the jewelry and gave clients the possibility of making installment payments. Times were difficult but in this way, little by little, he gained some clientele that could afford a purchase thanks to the ease of payment.
Thanks to the perseverance
For Rosa, who was working like a little ant, the “Arianne” house in Barcelona, a jewelry company, offered her to be a representative of the Maresme area. She would be the Head and would have different vendors under her. That's how she, going up and down every week, kept track of the sales of the different samples. At this stage, despite the headaches that so much responsibility brought her, she was able to meet some jewelry representatives who soon saw in Rosa, an honest and hard-working person in whom she could fully trust.

She decided to leave the Arianne company and try to work for herself as a freelancer, taking advantage of the trust that the different jewelry representatives had in her and that they were leaving her jewelry pieces conditional to be able to sell.
In a room
From her home she began this personal adventure, where more and more clients came to buy some jewelry or watch and let her advise them. From there, and with the help of her daughters, she decided to ask for a subsidy to help businesses offered by the Generalitat and thus be able to give a boost to the business she was starting.
After
After many papers in Barcelona and the visit of an inspector, who was able to see with his own eyes the evolution of everything, Rosa received the help she needed.
Thanks
to this subsidy, in 1989 Rosa was able to make her dream come true and set up a small store, without an exterior window, in a part of the garage of the house, on the ground floor.
It was an exponential change,
since the family gained a lot of privacy in the family home and in the store, customers could see the items much better and be better served. After a few years, a small showcase was made on the façade that gave much more light and visibility.

they were creating, little by little and like little ants, a small family business well recognized in their surroundings.
They bought
a jewelry engraving machine, with a plotter and computer, which at that time was a very important novelty. In the surrounding area it was the only one there was and work came from different places. Rosa, without any knowledge of computer science, learned through great perseverance and began to make engravings of all kinds.
Throughout this journey,
the youngest daughter, Pili, decided to study Jewelry at the Escola Massana for 5 years and received a special End of Degree Scholarship that allowed her to delve into engraving techniques for another year. She took different courses in stone and diamond recognition and did internships in the workshop of the Rectoret company in Barcelona and at Gallofré and Bernat in Canet de Mar.
At the moment
Pili is in charge of the business and in 1999 he was able to expand the store by taking over the entire garage and creating a good space to serve customers and be able to display the genre with good showcases.

Rosa's dream, which began in a small family room, has become an artisan business where you can find all types of jewelry for all budgets, watches and gift items. Straps and batteries of all types are changed and jewelry engraving is carried out.
